Description

When your spaceship experiences sudden turbulence, it's up to a tiny, eager robot to save the day. Explore the ship and lend a hand to your crewmates as you uncover how this diverse bunch ended up traveling the stars together. With magnetic feet that let you walk on any surface in zero gravity, no obstacle is out of reach in this heartwarming sci-fi adventure.

History

Our colleague, Aurel Eppert, came up with the idea for OrbitOddities last year during an internal game jam. The team loved the sweet robots rescuing astronauts in zero gravity. Since then a lot has been done in refinining the core concept: We adore our cozy world and diverse characters, and are proud of how smooth the movement feels.

Features

  • Built in Godot engine
  • Targeting a Q1 2027 full release.
  • Character: Diverse cast of nine characters
  • 2D Pixel Art: Cute and cozy, endearing, silly
  • Objectives: Help characters with their problems and learn more about them. Explore the station and just additionally solve tasks with minor puzzle elements.
  • Core Mechanic: You can walk on magnetic walls and flip from surface to surface. 360° movement
  • Current Proof-of-Concept (POC) offers a ~10 minute gameplay preview.
